CPS Metrics is a collection of visualizations that presents the sum of credits hours and student counts by college group for one specific campus. There are three charts accompanied by their corresponding data table. Each chart includes 9 colleges in different colors, representing the amount either of the unique count of students registered by course or, the sum of credit hours for the same group of students. By default, the information corresponds to the Fall semester but the user can also choose to see the full academic year. Campuses have been grouped by location excluding Foggy Bottom making the user to chose from Alexandria, Arlington, Hampton, and Virginia.

The Cross-Listed Courses Dashboard presents the relationship between Courses that are cross-listed by college and subject area. While it is possible to compare multiple terms the most efficient way to use the report is by filtering first the desired data. Available filters are Term Code, Cross List Group, Subject, CRN, Course Level, Course College, Course Name, and Primary Instructor. There are additional data that can be seen by downloading this information to excel, like the Primary instructor's email address and begin and end time for a course.

The Dean's Dashboard is a collection of visualizations that provide key insights into the following areas: Admissions Undergraduate Student Tuition Allocation GL Revenues and Expenses Missing Grades Employee Profile Each user will have a different view of the dashboard depending on his/her college affiliation or position at the University. If the user is in a role that can see across colleges, "All (10 Colleges)" will appear on the dashboard header. If the user is affiliated with a specific college, the college's name will appear on the header. The schools included are: Columbian College of Arts & Science College of Professional Studies Elliott School of International Affairs Graduate School of Education and Human Development Law School Milken Institute School of Public Health School of Business School of Engineering & Applied Sciences School of Medicine & Health Sciences School of Nursing Data for the Dean's Dashboard is collected from GW's enterprise systems and is as of COB of the previous day.

To begin, indicate a college at the Welcome page of the Dean's Dashboard. This Admissions tab provides a summary of all ten college groups by graduate and undergraduate. It displays combined Summer and Fall admission counts between January and September. In October to December, it displays Spring admission counts. It shows 4 metrics: Application Count as of the current date, Application Count as of the same day in the previous year, the Increase or Decrease between those counts, and Total Applications in the previous year. These metrics are shown for 4 admission statuses, Applied, Admitted, Coming and Denied. IMPORTANT NOTE: The Law school and the Medical school have different admissions systems. These systems only move admitted students to banner so only admitted students show on the dashboard and not all the applicants.

This is part of the Dean's Dashboard. It provides a summary view of fundraising metrics by fiscal year. This dashboard further differentiates between Total Attainment (commitments and outright gifts) and Cash Received (outright gifts and payments on existing commitments). Additionally, this dashboard displays summary total for different allocation uses within the current fiscal year. Note: The advancement dashboard has been designed to report on Fundraising performance. It is important to note that there are two areas where our understanding of the numbers may differ from Finance’s Fund Raising reporting. We “freeze” our data on a yearly basis to maintain a stable reporting environment for fundraising performance. If an open pledge from 2015 is reduced or canceled in 2016, we do not go back an update our historical fundraising totals. Finance may not report on full transaction totals for specific transaction types. They may produce a discounted value for pledges and bequest intentions based on accounting rules.

The Undergraduate Tuition Allocation tab (part of the Dean's Dashboard) is a projection of revenues that the College will make based on the the cost per credit (determined by the Budget Office) and the number of credits taken from Undergraduate courses taught by the College. It also compares the number of credits in the current fiscal year with the number of credits in the previous fiscal year by Department and by Budget Campus.
