The Division Dashboard is a collection of visualizations that provide key insights into the following areas:      GL Revenues and Expenses     Employee Profile       Each user will have a different view of the dashboard depending on his/her division affiliation or position at the University. If the user is in a role that can see across divisions, "All Divisions" will appear on the dashboard header. If the user is affiliated with a specific division, the division's name will appear on the header. The divisions included are: Athletics and Recreation  Board of Trustees EVPT Divisions Executive Management Development and Alumni Relations Division of Information Technology General Counsel GW Libraries and Academic Innovation Office of the President Senior Associate Vice President for Operations   Data for the Division Dashboard is collected from GW's enterprise systems and is as of COB of the previous day.

The Annual Attainment / Cash Received tab in the Division Dashboard provides a summary view of fundraising metrics by fiscal year. This dashboard further differentiates between Total Attainment (commitments and outright gifts) and Cash Received (outright gifts and payments on existing commitments). Additionally, this dashboard displays summary total for different allocation uses within the current fiscal year.   Note: The advancement dashboard has been designed to report on Fundraising performance. It is important to note that there are two areas where our understanding of the numbers may differ from Finance’s Fund Raising reporting. • We “freeze” our data on a yearly basis to maintain a stable reporting environment for fundraising performance. If an open pledge from 2015 is reduced or canceled in 2016, we do not go back an update our historical fundraising totals. • Finance may not report on full transaction totals for specific transaction types. They may produce a discounted value for pledges and bequest intentions based on accounting rules.

The Employee Profile tab of the Division Dashboard provides a count of active employees in the division and its composition (tenure, full-time status and location). It also provides the amount spent for Overtime pay in the division for the current and previous fiscal years.

The GL Revenues and Expenses tab, part of the Division Dashboard; shows the income statement items for Divisions: Actuals vs Annual Budget for the current and previous Fiscal Years for Revenues, the Top 3 Compensation Expenditures, and non-compensation expenditures.  Notes: Additional Security: To be able to view GL Balances, access to accounting strings in EAS must be granted. For those who are able to see across divisions: The Division Dashboard only includes revenues and expenses for the divisions included in the Welcome tab."
