This allows reporting on sources of gifts, such as Alumni, Faculty/Staff, Corporations, Foundations, etc. Donors may have many affiliations to GW, and may have several entity type records. This field establishes the primary relationship at the time of the gift. For example, at the time of a gift, a donor might be a student and in two years time, will have the entity type of Alumnus/a.
