Student Status
Description of Student Status (e.g. Active Student, Graduated, etc.)
Student Status Code
2-char code for Student Status (e.g. AS stands for Active Student).
Student Type
Description of Student Type (e.g. Transfer, First Time Freshman, New Non-Degree)
Student Type Code
1 char code for Student Type (e.g. A stands for First Time Freshman and G stands for Graduate.)
Student Type Group
Denotes the level of the applicant and any prior higher education pursued at GW or elsewhere.
Student Type Next Code
The next expected type code for the student (e.g. a first-time freshman (A)becomes a continueing student ( C)).
Student Wage
Employees who hold temporary student jobs, including those paid through Federal Work-Study. Employees whose employee class code begins with a "W"
Student Zip Code
Zip Code is selected based on the address hierarchy and active address logic
Study Abroad Indicator
Indicates Y if the student opts for study abroad
Study Abroad Registration Type Code
Study Abroad Registration Type Code used by Institutional Research
Study Abroad Reg Type Code Grouping
Study Abroad grouping of the Registration Type used by Institutional Type
Study Abroad Reg Type Desc
Description of the Study Abroad Registration type code used by Institutional Research.
Study Abroad Student
Arrangement by which a student completes part of the college program studying in another country. Can be at a campus abroad or through a cooperative agreement with some other U.S. college or an institution of another country.
** does not include GW people who have signed up through the international travel process (not referring to Study Abroad department).
Study Abroad Type
The Office of Study Abroad assigns students in different categories of Study Abroad Type based on students' program selection.
Sub Burden Raw Cost
The raw cost for sub contract expenditure types that is used for calculating the burden cost
SubCategory
When "Financial Aids" is selected in the Category filter, this lists the different Financial Aid descriptions as they are found in Banner.
Subject
A branch of knowledge studied or taught. Holds GWU academic subjects such as Russian, Art/Fine Arts, and Telecommunications. Based on the STVSUBJ table in Banner. (Note that the D_Subject also pulls in a field from STVCOLL (the college description)).
Subject Code
Year and term for Course Section information. The first Four
characters represent the academic year. The last two
characters represent the term.
Subject College
Describes the College that the subject is from i.e. 14 = Columbian School of Arts & Sci
Subject College Code
2-Char code of College that is tied to the course subject.
Subject GW Credit Hours
GW Credit Hours in specified Subject area
Subject GW GPA
GW GPA for courses in a specific subject
Subject GW GPA Hours
GW GPA Hours for courses in a specific subject
Subject GW Quality Points
GW Quality Points for specific subject
Submission Status
This field identifies if proposal was submited or not submitted
