Taking as

Distinct count of students in a term who are taking a field of study (for example, Chemistry) and how they are taking it (for example, a student can be taking the field of study as a 1st Major, a 2nd Major, a 1st Minor,  a 2nd Minor, or as a Concentration)

TargetX Application ID

Unique identifier assigned to application records in TargetX CRM.

Task Completion Date

The date and time when the task was completed. 

Task Creation Date

The date and time when the task was created

Task Description

Description of the Task

Task Indirect Cost Fixed Date

Date that represents those expenses that cannot be readily allocated to a single sponsored project or training program but which represent the University's costs for carrying out research and training activities. (Also called F&A costs)

Task Last Update

The date and time when the task was last updated.

Task Location

The location where the award is being carried out

Task Long Name

This is the description of the task.

Task Name

The name of the task usually a six digit code.

Task Number

Number that identifies a commitment/encumbrance

Task Org Code

Organization code associated with the group that carried out the task.

Task Org Desc

Orgaziation description associated with the group that carried out the task.

Task Org ID

The organization ID associated with the group that carried out the task.

Task Start Date

Start date of the task.

Taxable Fellowship

This category, typically known as
a stipend and used as a living allowance, includes payments to the
student or credits to a student’s account other than those defined as
non-taxable fellowships. There is no requirement that the
recipient perform any services for the benefit of the University as a condition
of receiving the payment and these payments are often made as an incentive for
students to attend the University. In
no instance is a stipend a payment involving services. Although these payments are usually taxable
income to the student, the University is not required to report them to the
student or the IRS, nor is the University required to withhold tax on
them. (In the case of international
students, different withholding and reporting rules apply depending on the tax
treaty with the U.S.
of the student’s home country.) Students
are responsible for reporting these payments and remitting any tax due. Students must determine with their tax
advisor whether tax should be paid quarterly to the IRS or with the filing of
their personal income tax return.

Area Code for the telephone.

Identifies the telephone code.
